I tell stories about others, about myself, about what has been, could be, and definitely shouldn’t be.
I begin as a writer. When long sentences are not enough, or even too much, I write shorter ones.
Sometimes they rhyme; sometimes they don’t.
When words just don’t make sense, I take pictures to capture the moment of a story. And should I find their stillness too contrived, I make them move.
If images and words fail me, I shape sound to capture that abstraction of feeling.
Every dance with a new creative medium is punctuated by the need to tell stories - to whisper something meaningful in a world that shouts long into the night.
