This seven part series is inspired by the emotional journey through the seven stages of grief:
shock, denial, pain/guilt, anger, depression, acceptance, rebuilding.
I have taken the abstract emotion and translated it into a musical narrative.
Each ‘tape’ follows a different style of electronic music, based on the combination of feeling and thinking through the unknown and the uncertain - and how we have come to find familiarity in grief.
